I learnt to drive in a 2.25 LWB Safari... was the best shaggin vehicle ever.. across the front bench seats for a quickie.

No turbo so pretty gutless, and sh*t drum brakes with no servo meant you planned for stopping a long time in advance
    18mpg tops - my current 4x4 gets 30+!
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

I've an old Fergie too. Got it bolted about 3m up on top of an old tree stump. Well, I thought I've got this crane on hire for another hour or so, what can I do with it? I know I'll pull that old tractor out of the barn and stick it up in that tree.
Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.
threadeds website, and here's my blog.

I was young and foolish then. Now I've seen the light. (I've still got a photo of it though.)

Probably the best thing to do with the bugger. Mine is at the point where it needs a squirt of "start you bastard" - given it's diesel with no heaters it's not suprising really. The livedrive PTO is so slow you can just about count the damn revs, the best it can drive is a 5ft topper, but only in 1st.

Takes an age to mow 6 acres.

Mind you if yours is a TE20 you could always send me the injector pump. That would solve a lot of my problems. And the fuel guage. Never ever run one out of diesel.....

I think I've stumbled into the wrong forum. Can anyone point me at CUK?

I've got one, and I'm getting a new one in a few weeks time. I've already said why I need it, so no need to explain further.

I've been in Cyprus the last week, and there are a good collection of SWB S11 and SIII rotting away, I even saw some air transportable's....

Well you looked so stylish I thought you batted for the other camp - thats like the ultimate compliment!

I couldn't imagine you ever having a hair out of place!
