Not you, I was referring to a forum troll who by definition is deliberately contrary in order to court controversy.Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson -
So far the results are restoring my faith in human nature - only 1 yes with 13 no. I find it hard to believe that anyone would actually vote yes and actually mean it.Comment

MeOriginally posted by gingerjediWhat sort of troll would vote 'yes' and then not bother to give an explanation as to why?

Because it is a loaded question.

lets assume its a Mark Warner resort - family friendly and considered very safe. and lets say 50m. within line of sight. which sounds close to the actual case. that okay?Originally posted by DodgyAgentMe

Is it a Mark warner on an Island miles from anywhere or is it mixed into a town centre and has no boundary enclosure?Originally posted by andrew_neil_uklets assume its a Mark Warner resort - family friendly and considered very safe. and lets say 50m. within line of sight. which sounds close to the actual case. that okay?Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyoneComment

It still seems a bit loaded to me, because we have the benefit of hindsight. Everyone can vote No, and show they wouldn't have done what the parents did. But we know the consequences of the decision and they didn't.Originally posted by andrew_neil_uklets assume its a Mark Warner resort - family friendly and considered very safe. and lets say 50m. within line of sight. which sounds close to the actual case. that okay?Comment

There are an awful lot of righteous pr*cks with hindsight behind them.
