Oh Dear: Is there any other country in Europe where this would cause outrage ?

I think you'll find he crawled from beneath it
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

So you are my your own definition a fool. You do seem a bit of a snidey little dog if you'll forgive me for saying.

It seems you are the dangerous one, the one who cannot argue his points without recourse to threats, and happy to slander an innocent. Boy are you brave.
                You seem annoyed.

I said that CD sounded like someone else and described that person. I didn't say it was him. And it might not be him - fair enough, but I reckon that other person is big enough to look after himself.

CD was happy to put his email address in the public domain. I pointed this out and pointed out how people can get hold of an identity from that, not very nice, I agree, but I go into my reasons below. And I mentioned 'Searchlight', but only after he mentioned libel.

Now, it is not a simple matter of 'not agreeing with his views'. If that was the case, I would do the same for everyone I don't agree with, which happens to be a fair amount of people. And I don't. Why pick on CD:

                1. Because I believe he is a fascist (I've been through my reasons, you might not agree, but it's a reasonable belief of mine).
                2. Because fascists are happy to use the freedom of democracy when it suits them, but as soon as they get their power, they will smash their opponents and anyone who doesn't fit into their little world-view.
                3. This is not just my political theorising, I've come across them in real life, and I've seen what they do to communities.
                4. Fascists don't play fair - have a look at Redwatch (NOT work safe) if you don't believe me.
                5. Given all the above, (which you may not agree with, but I'm explaining my reasons), I'm not sure that I've done that much - even if I had exposed the name behind the email, it's not illegal. Not very nice of me perhaps, but when it comes to fascists, you know, I'm not a very nice person. Am I dangerous? Harfly. And I think other than this issue, we'd probaly get on fine.

Debates are great fun, but there's a real world out there and there are some bad people in it (I've met some of them) and they play a lot dirtier than I do.

There's a difference. I fully knew that my e-mail was visible. I've taken it off now that Bag'o'Puss has kindly put in the thread. It was old and invalid anyway.

And am I a "snidey little dog" if I think it's hysterical that some twat came and spewed crap on here thinking he was anonymous, only to find he wasn't?
                  If so then "woof woof"

You are a self righteous idiot. From a few words on a forum you would do such a thing, you deserve all you get.

All I get? What happened to freedom of speech?
