Range Rover, yes. Land Rover, nope.
my Disco would be fine doing about 110mph and be very happy doing 100mph.

Yes those Nissan Bluebirds go on forever, and as for gypo's they buy BMW X5's because they have large ill gotten incomes and they like shiny flashy things!
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Ah I remember my OTC days when they let us loose in a V6 landrovers, should have seen the looks on the faces of the blokes in thier hot hatches when a army landrover overtook them on the motorway slip road and left them for dead accelerating past the 100mph mark on the motorway.

Loads of fun, and they did off road surprisingly well too

Yes but the Mercs used by taxi drivers in germany etc are all pre-1999. After 1999 Merc had huge QC issues as they took their eye off the ball after the Chrysler merger. I believe these issues are fixed now, but I wouldn't bet on it
