That's right. We've already discussed the merits of Slough here.

Are you actually a size 0? I don't think I've ever met one of those.

      I nearly said Slough.

Reading is in the M4 / Thames corridor, and in easy reach of London and Heathrow. It is also has good rail links to the South, the West, the West Midlands, and the North West.

There's also a lot of nice places to live around Reading.

That's why it's expensive around there...

True, but that supports my point I suppose.

          I don't live there though.

I really used to like staying in Kings Langely, lovely little village, but then they built that M25 thing and all those houses.

I do, and tbh, for the gigs I am interviewing for right now, I'd be better off living in London. Somewhere like Blackheath would be ideal I reckon. Good links into the city and a nice village atmosphere...

              Older and ...well, just older!!

Take care what you wish for. A lot of south-east London is a tulipe-hole.

There's some, but you asked for the best place. You are much better off living somewhere with easy access to London, followed by access to the M4 corridor.

And contractors are the only ones who can afford to move in around there now.

How about Mayfair? Good for access to the City and the west end.
