I'm born and bred in the North, and living very happily down in Twickenham thanks
I've got to know the local community, the regulars at the local, joined a couple of clubs, and have a few mates down here for beers regularly. It's a great little place - doesn't feel at all like Central London.
Mind, I've managed to avoid the tube for about 2 years now. Whenever I do go down there to visit Oxford St, say, it's always a mad b'stard scramble with loads of besuited t**ts and tourists. Not a pleasant way to spend even a short 5 min.
And you've heard my views on the fools hanging around big station concourses such as Waterloo and Euston.Comment
