I thought they were giving mortgages away these days !?

Just imagine what it must feel like without an exit strategy. I did a 12 month permie stint 10 years ago to get into SAP, I bought a calender and ticked the days off, resigned after 11 months, out the door 12 months to the day.

Must have been like being in prison... did you count how many donations - leaving, babies, marriage bollux etc. you had to give to?

Don't worry about the mortgage...I went in to my bank last December and asked to borrow £170k even though I had no work on and had no intention of working for a couple of months...I had less than a year as a contractor and before going contracting had taken 4 months off to recover from several years as a permie...

Opening line to the bank manager was...'Ok...so we can spend the next couple of hours putting some spin on this, but essentially I don't have a job and I'd like to borrow £170k please...'

If only I'd had a camera!

Still...got the mortgage...so...no need to stick at being a permie any more...resign...and resign now!

Or running up the stairs with a bike on your shoulder.

Never knew there was a rule for that, until I was told there was.
