      My twins were Gina Ford and I expect the new baby to be too. However I think that like any methodolgy it cant be applied rigidly - eg I suspended it if the kids had colic. But the routine bit is very important.

          no - you are the only one! :-)

          happened to all at some stage - one French friend was taking his one year old daughter back to South-East France from London. Huge delays and they got really tired - daughter slipped from buggy and broke her leg. Parents distraut.

            Gina Ford - the contented baby. Have a quick google search. Tends to divide parents - they love it or hate it. Has to be started early or does not work nearly as well.

                  Ear plugs work well, but you don't half feel guilty when you go into their room in the morning after a restful nights' sleep, only to find they've been sick everywhere and obviously rolled around in for most of the night!!

                    My 2 year daughter normally zeds for England but her silly mother fired her up for her birthday today and she was up at 3:30 saying 'presents, presents, presents' !!!
