Remember that I have the kids 4 days per week - my ex says she struggles to do 3 days (but refuses all offers of a 5/2 split). ex really struggles with even a 1 week holiday - next is end August. I always worry about the kids when with her.

And I have to work to give money to my ex and pay the mortgague.

I did have 2 weeks booked in August to Hong Kong - me, gf, kids. gf used to live there. But now she is pregnant we will probably have to cancel - she has diabetes too and will be 29/31 weeks while travelling.

While the kids are okay I will be okay. I have to be.

"my son is coming up to 7 next month - he's probably slept through less than 20 nights since he's been born..."

and I can beat that with ease. As my son is blind he didn't really get the day night thing. He didn't sleep through a whole night until he was 4
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

      I preferred version 1!

            That's a good suggestion Milan.

After a full day of bouncy castles, rides and wot-not, they should be knackered and able to get a decent night's kip.

we regularly go to places like this only locally. The gf gets very stressed that something may happen to them. Last week they visited my mother's for 2 nights and the gf could not sleep.

I really appreciate the support and advice.

I tell you I bloody shat my pants on saturday at toys r us on my own with my daughter I was looking the big scalextric set she's gonna get for christmas and then when I looked round she was gone shat my pants got an assistant to help find her she was zooming round on some ride on toy having a great time has this happened to anyone else ?

so I sympathise with the worry, but can't you supervise them at butlins, just sit back while they are on the rides and the nice thing about minehead there's a beach and there are hills to go walking up etc very nice very civilized
