The problem with Denny
The problem with people like Denny, just like the Chico documentary presented by Louis Theroux last night, is that they are totally unbending in their views. They will argue black is white in order to not give an inch on what are effectively entrenched, unyielding attitudes. Unfortunately when their arguments are unsustainable by logic, they then keep digging. During this process they then make themselves look stupid by trying to defend a point of view that they have not clearly thought through (Sandydown are you listening?)
A parallel can be drawn with the idiots on last nights chico show. These people, when questioned about the very (misguided) assumptions that their views are based, resort to nonsensensical arguments/statements and run away.
It is a shame really because some of what Denny has to offer is really quite sensible. The problem is that she rself righteously and pompously proclaimed that everything she had to say was also beyond question.

yes some of the arguments get out of hand, but it often helps if you just blame Bagpuss for everything - you can direct your hate in one direction that way and you dont feel overwhelmed.
