I rather like Alan Sugar. There's only one thing wrong with him - he's a Labour Luvvie. That explains why his products are crap.Comment

Certainly cheap, some of it was reasonable quality compared with other manufactures (i.e. Sinclair).Originally posted by KyajaeSugar has made his money by peddling cheap low quality crap.
Yes.Originally posted by KyajaeAnyone here old enough to remeber Amstrad PC's with it's mickey Mouse CP/M o/s and Locoscript word processor.
The Amstrad wordprocessor thingie was quite cleverly designed. The bios code was in the gate array, so no boot eprom. Quite clever for 1985(ish)Seemed to do the job ok to me... though the 1512 CGA screen was painful. At £1200 it was a bargain at the time compared with the competition.Originally posted by KyajaeEven when the penny dropped, his IBM compatible was total b0ll0x.
dunno. Never seen or used one. Remember the ICL "One per desk"?Originally posted by KyajaeThat email/communicator/phone thing he's marketing (you can see it on his receptionist's desk) - looks like it was conceived by a complete retard.Comment

No that explains why his taxes are lowOriginally posted by wendigo100I rather like Alan Sugar. There's only one thing wrong with him - he's a Labour Luvvie. That explains why his products are crap. The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment
