Yes.
The Amstrad wordprocessor thingie was quite cleverly designed. The bios code was in the gate array, so no boot eprom. Quite clever for 1985(ish)
Seemed to do the job ok to me... though the 1512 CGA screen was painful. At £1200 it was a bargain at the time compared with the competition.
dunno. Never seen or used one. Remember the ICL "One per desk"?
Geek Alert!!!!

I've seen him interviewed a few times and I thought he came across OK. Like Baggy said, editing is key.Originally posted by TheRightStuffjust because he has expensive material objects does not mean he can't be slagged off. He is rude and talks down to people. Repect is not earned by the amount of money you have. It's alot deeper then that.
Anyways, I'm not jealous, I've been commuting by chopper for a while now. Raleigh chopper that is...

To be fair on AS, he said on breakfast the other day that the programme is heavily edited in favour of his shouty moments, like he said, would he have so many long serving staff if he didn't have a lighter side.Originally posted by TheRightStuffjust because he has expensive material objects does not mean he can't be slagged off. Alan Sugar should be more like Richard Branson rather than Alan Sugar.

"He also was the star of a reality television show on Fox called The Rebel Billionaire, in which sixteen contestants were tested for their entrepreneurship and sense of adventure. It did not succeed as a rival show to Donald Trump's The Apprentice and only lasted one season."
