Whatever - the UK miillitary,from the rank and file to the top brass - want out of Iraq - and if you dont like that fact - you could get yourself over there as a volunteer.

Are you saying then that the majority of the US population who are against the Iraq war , the UK population and the UK millitary hate the Brits and the Americians too - how absurd.

that is not what I am saying at all. Although I originally supported the war on the basis that I believed (foolishly) that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and was prepared to use them. I have however changed my mind and found sympathy with people like yourself who did not believe in the Iraq war. I have also come to agree with you and others that this war was as much to do with securing oil as anything else.

However you have turned yourself into a fool by criticising evrything that America does or stands for (and the UK) and supporting any activity that is anti west, anti america, anti eu; making up your own conspiracy theories or inventing/spinning facts to whatever ends in order to feed what can only be some sort of cowardly guilt complex that you have.

The UK has every right to be there...and being the pedantic ***** I am...because they are there at the invitation of the Iraqi Government. You know...the Government that was elected by its very own people with higher turn outs at the voting booth than ever seen in the UK or America.

Im picking you dont have the capacity to understand the little concept that Im about to post...but Ill post it anyway.

In Western countries with well established parlimentarian processes the armed forces report to the Governments.

What I suspect you are proposing is that the Armed Forces should control the Government. Now I could just be a little bit pedantic here BUT dont they call set ups like that dictatorships? You can usually tell a dictatorship as the geezer running the show usually dresses in a military uniform...much like numbnuts over in Pakistan.
