FWIW, as for the 4 and 5 year old kiddies, we should be teaching them to read without having a social or political message in their text. My younger children are reading books about a mum, dad, kids and a dog. They are interested in what these characters are doing, not whether they are a nuclear family or not. More importantly, they are learning phonetics and how to spell.

And if you want to get into social engineering, how about starting off with teaching children about extended families post separation and divorce? That would make more sense to me...

So "natural" is not always good then? Clearly crime can't be tolerated only because it is natural for someone - for majority of people it is natural NOT to accept that behavior. So long as gays don't bother me I could not care less, however this political correctness crap that is driven by opressed in the past minorities is becoming really tedious.

I'm not making a moral argument. That's what religion and society has done ever since humans learnt to speak. However, this does not detract from the fact that things like homosexuality, rape, murder, theft etc are perfectly scientifically natural and all can be observed in the animal kingdom.

The value of word "natural" is next to zero then - I could not care less what gays do (so long as they don't force other people to either look or engage in what they do) but rape, murder and other things are NOT acceptable things in modern society and they certainly should not be glorified: something that actually happens in (c)rap music, but this does not mean it is right thing.

Just because some animals are gay does not make it normal either - they can have deviations just like humans: if all were gay then the life would end.

Your definition of scientific natuality has value next to nothing - social word "natural" as used here by most is perfectly acceptable as it is based on common behavior that fits inline with continuation of life.
