    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...dismissal.html

I am open to offers of £90k jobs. Toy guns and chickens - no problem. RSVP.

I've worked in places with toy nerf guns battles. (Well you can't have water pistols though I was once involved in a water gun battle outside on the office grounds.)

    I'm very good at ducking.

It isn't laddish but it is childish - I know and see plenty of girls who have water pistol and water balloon fights.

From the story She managed them, if she wanted she could have changed the culture. Sounds like laser blast outings and confining the fights to the break room would be a good start.

She would have hated being in the workshop or the warehouse in my previous jobs.
Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

She didn't change the culture as she knew there was nothing wrong with it.

Also as she managed them there was nothing stopping her from hiring more women.

If it was like the places I've been it is random spontaneous bursts of firing mainly targeted at one individual every few weeks, when people remember that there are nerf guns (and "find" where the darts have been carefully collected and hidden...)

Sounds like an older lady who couldn't manage 20 somethings.

I've been on both ends, just call them out if they are being loud/distracting or fast approaching the line and they quit it and get back to work.

She was made redundant in July 2020 around the time of Covid.

She worked for the company since 2007.

No wonder the tribunal weren't convinced she couldn't cope with the atmosphere.

The company didn't help themselves by withholding her holiday pay.
