It was far better when they used to wear knickers.

          Just to clarify.

No mate. What I am saying is we stop with this "women are equal" tulip and accept that there are differences in the sexes.

Celebrate those differences instead of chasing this ridiculous equality ideal. These women are asking to be treated as equals when clearly they are not.
Neither are dinner ladies doing an equal job to bin men, but to be PC we have to say they are.?
I will now propose a reason why women should be paid as much as the men at Wimbledon that you could have used instead of bleeting on about equality and tulip.
          Money.
The womens games are as popular as the mens. They generate an equal amount of revenue for the tournament and should therefore be given an equal share. However I would guess that were it a men only comp people would still pay the same. There would still be a market for the womens game.
Does the bold bit help? Babble.
I am not qualified to give the above advice!

Do you ever have anything constructive to add to a discussion? Typical woman - proved wrong and resort to insults! Women are not equal to men in a number of areas and it is no good trying to pretend they are. Saying that, in some areas they excel. I don't know what this obsession is with equality - people are not, never have been and never will be equal.

Ok I see some of your points but put it this way, despite being played on the same courts as the same time at the same venue there are essentially two different competitions going on, so why can’t the people who run the game just set the prize money at whatever level they like? ...More if they want! Take away the equality issue and the problem goes away.

I'm just saying why can't they have the same level of prize money if they want why does it always have to be less?
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

I knew we would get there in the end.

It is the equality thing that pisses me off.
