You are missing my point baggy.
Carbon footprints and stuff do not matter a damn. The planet is warming and whatever we do will not make a tulipe of difference. Fly everywhere, it doesn't matter.
What matters is getting the infrastructure right when the ice caps melt, the seas rise and all the other stuff thats coming comes.

I know what you are saying, but we don't know how much it matters, it could be we have the ability via technology to do something about it. Instead we are being told the only way we can continue, is to be priced off the roads, but we know that won't happen, it will priced at a level to be not so inconvienient that it doesn't maximise revenue. So nothing will change.

PS Many climate scientists do not believe in the doomsday scenerio, that is largely spun by the governments and pressure groups, it's more of a gradual process which has undesirable consequences.

One report, it must be true. It is, I read it in a report by people looking for government funding.

Step 1 - Bring out a doom scenario
Step 2 - Tell the governments they can change it.
Step 3 - Let the governments think up taxes to raise revenues on the back of the findings.
Step 4 - Issue large research grants to the scientists responsible for the reports.
Step 5 - Goto step 1.

Go **** yourself SAS.By what right do you claim to have the only source of correct science. There is other science out there which argues other ways, but it is much harder to find because there are not so many people with agendas to push it.

The agenda of most of the reports I have seen has been to find a human/climate change link. Your report is no different in my opinion.

I don't see any criticism from you of the scientific method. Just a series of Chico-like allegations. And as we all know, Chico didn't even exist. It's a pretty big achievement to be stupider than a made-up character, don't you think?
