Dam you! We know of your allience with the empire and though you may be proud of the technilogical terrors you've constructed, the ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Force.

Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Can you not just admit you were talking out of your @rse and resorted to insults to cover up your mistake?

If you believe the hype about C02 and rapid temperature changes, you will see we are overdue a very large ice-age, where the UK would be plunged into -50C winter temps.

Who's to say them awfully nice people in Chelsea driving 4x4 V8's haven't saved us from certain frozen doom?

Never... I don’t think I insulted anyone did I? it was only meant to be light hearted if I did, all we have proved is statistics can be manipulated to suit either side of the argument, mini ice ages and hot spells or a more general trend of the earth heating up.

All we have proved is that you are not man enough to own up to making a mistake. You tried to pass off an article as something it wasn't and then insulted wonderwaif when he very politely queried that mistake.

The climate is changing, it has been for thousands of years and it will continue to do so. The "fact" that human intervention is a major contributing factor hasn't been proved.

BTW: since when did people start believing anything the Al Gore has to say or any other politician for that matter. Their business is to sell a particular point of view to further an agenda. Hardly a reliable source for scientific evidence.

                  That's alright Mr Dalek.
Yes, statistics are always manipulated to better illustrate the point you are trying to prove.
What gets me about the tree-huggers is how they just know they are right and anybody who doesn't subscribe is a moron.
I don't know either way, but I do know when a Politician is lying to me.

By the way, as a Test Analyst I am pedantic for a living. You missed out analy retentive.

But there is increasing evidence it is a factor. Chances are it is. Clinging to a small chance it isn't and taking that as fact, is not being open minded it it?
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”
