Premium bond prize rate raised to 3%

I have a few grand in Premium Bonds but I don't think you gan beat Euromillions and the chance to win enough money to finance a fairly major civil engineering project such as bridge or tunnel.

I have always hated the 1 mil prizes though. I don't think this should be a way to get rich.
