Doom Two down. Is it bye Boris?

Tories have lost Wakefield as expected.

BBC News - Wakefield by-election result: Labour defeat Tories to retake seat https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leeds-61896693

    Plus Tiverton and Honiton:

    https://www.theguardian.com/politics...-tory-majority
Boris Johnson has suffered a disastrous defeat in the Tiverton and Honiton byelection after the Liberal Democrats overturned a Tory majority of more than 24,000 to win the seat.

The Liberal Democrats won 22,537 votes, with Tories second on 16,393.

The spectacular loss of the Devon constituency, held by the Tories since it was created 25 years ago, will be seen as a sign of Johnson’s diminishing electoral appeal after Partygate and as the cost of living crisis escalates.

When you and your colleagues are raking in the money through corruption you are not going to quit until you are pushed.

He never even visited Wakefield, and only briefly visited Tiverton. The Tory party did not do door-to-door work or debates (apart from one), instead relying on leaflets and “always vote Tory”.
The electorate aren’t always the mugs that the government think they are.

Boris states he is going to listen to voters.

Boris will be ousted as soon as enough Tories want him gone. That will be the point where enough of them think he's an electoral liability.

Olivier Dowden thinks he is an electoral liability - so has resigned from the cabinet. He helped get him in as leader of the Tories. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-61920000

Oh and the Tories are moaning because people tactically voted.

He will rake in even more after he has gone.

I think he will be kept in place as a scapegoat for Brexit and the cost of living crisis.

The second things look like improving he will be removed.

                  From after dinner speaking?

Apparently William Hague makes a load of money from it but one ex-leader isn't that popular.

Or from being more like Cameron and Green Sill? Thing is Boris Johnson looks and is corrupt, so if you are doing something dodgy you know it will be scrutinised heavily.

It will take outside influence for things to start improving for British people.
