    Just testing.
As most things written these days are funky small iscolated components anyway and not small sections of a 10,000-lines-of-code program, calling it unit testing is like calling a Koala a Koala Bear.

And of course, other more hip Java style people call it black/white box testing.

What do they call System Acceptance Testing (SAT) now then? Just testing?
What do they call User Acceptance Testing (UAT) now then? Just testing?
What do they call Regression Testing now then? Just testing?

I don't know. I bet Bob Shawadiwadi does proper testing.

No, they still call all of them the same things.

Its just the way that we write components that has changed since your day.

Can't help but laugh at the idea Dim has his code peer reviewed!

          Blood bath.

He probably doesn't - he's just being a pedantic sod to try and show me up.

It is not so much a peer review, more of an enlightenment. A bit like Moses handing down tablets from god to the great unwashed.

                  Please rephrase,

"It is not so much a peer review, more of an enlightenment. A bit like Moses handing down tablets from Threaded to the great unwashed."

As a matter of fact you can clearly see Threaded contribution in the ten commandments as originally they were only 8. Threaded added "do not falsely accuse" and "do not covet your neighbour house". Historical reports are revealing that these inscriptions seem to be written in a very bad danish-english-like language which nobody could decipher so far.
I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.

What's wrong with having your code reviewed?

Are you ashamed of what you write?
