I'm looking at getting Tesla Model Y for 3 years whilst the BIK rates are cheap as chips

Wondering what folks drive these days... I need something that'll get me to and from a client once in a while, approx. 2.5hours. I'd like to be fresh as a daisy when I arrive. Am thinking S-Class (old school one) but never driven one. The Mondeo Estate is a comfy beast, but not sure it cuts the right image...

Then what to folks drive for fun? I have a 911 (C4 from 1998) which is pretty cool but only use it once a week if that... can you combine comfort and fun? Not a car I'd travel to a client in.

My penny's worth. Against my advice, friend bought a s/h S class. Yes a nice car but he had a bill for not less than £1k per visit to the garage. One major issues is a small plastic dowel on the auto gear selector jams and Merc charges £1200 to replace it. I have seen s-class' breakdown for the same reason, the AA man frantically hitting the gear selector with a hammer to snap the dowel (that is the correct way to do it BTW)

Original Model S was very unreliable. In the UK, it seems the Model 3 is about as reliable as a premium German car, so quite unreliable.

I don't really know what I'd get if I were to get rid of the zed. At present, I'm minded to not buy another car once mine goes to the great scrapyard in the sky. I don't drive enough to warrant maintaining my own vehicle and I might get more fun out of hiring different cars when I do need to drive.
