Comrade Bercow - future Labour Leader?

Labour conference: Comrade Bercow makes debut

Does anyone think there's a chance he could have ambitions, or could realistically get support, to mount a leadership campaign at any time? I was surprised to see him speaking at the conference. In these days of popularism, he's at least someone with a bit of character unlike the rest of the drab squad so like him or loath him is it such a crazy idea?

Burnham seems the obvious future leader, of course. But the whole PLP is such a dump fire...

I hope not. I can't stand Bercow. I could handle Burnham, he seems more switched on, but I don't know if he'll 'scale up' well from regional to whole UK.

Angela Rayner would be good for a laugh as leader.

He sounds competent, can argue with people and is Northern.

God no! There is only so many times I can hear about her being a single mother. Though Labour should put her against BJ at PMQs a few times to wind him up.
