I have several email accounts and two of them get no spam mainly because I don't use them for online shopping or give them to websites."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

If you are not getting almost no emails then obviously there will be little or zero spam, it’s hardly a good example of effective spam filteringComment

Spam doesn't bother me. Most of it gets caught and I never see it.
I'm not so paranoid that I create a new email address for every site that asks for one, in order to track who is selling my data.
What I find more annoying is the sheer number of people who think that my Wordpress sites use Admin as the administrator user name. The number of alerts I get from people trying to hack in is terrible. A concerted effort occurred over the weekend.Comment

One rare person who did suggested Twitter is the best way to publicise blog articles, but I don't want to get into that and in any case I'm not bothered one way or another.
