    The Official DOOM: Buckle up!

"Boris Johnson said that the Government was working towards a "return to pretty much life before Covid" on July 19, when all restrictions in England are due to be lifted.

The Prime Minister told reporters on Monday that he thinks we should continue to take a "cautious but irreversible approach" and use the next few weeks leading up to July 19 to "get another five million vaccinations into people's arms".

On a campaign visit to Johnstone's Paints Limited in Batley, he said that once we build up the wall of vaccine protection from Covid "even higher", we can go forward with July 19 and "go back to life as it was before Covid as far as possible".

His comments come as the new Health Secretary, Sajid Javid, said that lifting coronavirus restrictions as soon as possible is his "absolute priority" and that it will be "irreversible". "

          FTFY.

It's been patently obvious for weeks the way this is heading - effectively get to the point where the high risk groups are vaccinated, everyone else can get a vaccine if possible, and then let everyone at it (or moreso, let the virus at everyone). The high numbers vaccinated should ensure the NHS is not overrun, and others can make a risk-based assessment - either get vaccinated, or don't come crying if you choose not to and end up sick/in hospital/with long covid/dead. The survival of the fittest, in the most literal sense.

The only thing that will change this is a new vaccine-resistant strain of the virus taking hold.

Which it will if you let this virus run free.

All that needs to happen now is 10x mortality, which won't stop virus from spreading since it's 2x on original already very effective virus.

One thing that I know for sure is that this forum is full of idiots.

I guess it is not very long to wait, we shall sell.

You missed the part that even vaccinated people can end up sick/in hospital/with long covid/dead. However you are less likely to if you are jabbed.
