Nah, the Reimann Zeta function is relatively easy to work with when R > 1.

It's when the real part is less than 1 (well between -1 and 1) that it gets really tricky!

R number above 1 in England, estimates show

The Covid-19 R number, which reflects how many people an infected person passes the virus to, has risen slightly from between 0.9 to 1.1 last week, to 1.0 to 1.1 this week, according to Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) and Sage estimates for England.

It shows that cases are growing fastest in London and the north-west, at between 0% to 3% and 0% to 4% every day respectively. Both areas have been hit by the India variant.

The overall English growth rate range is between 0% to 3%, another adjustment upwards from -2% to 1% last week.”

"Local lockdowns possible in England if Covid rates rise, says minister

Local lockdowns remain a possibility in some parts of England, as “intensive surveillance” continues in areas with high coronavirus rates, a cabinet minister has said.

The environment secretary, George Eustice, told Times Radio there was a “clear roadmap out of lockdown” with a decision due within weeks on whether the last stage of lifting of restrictions can go ahead on 21 June.

But he added: “If we do have a deterioration in some of these areas, then of course we can’t rule out that we would put in place certain local lockdowns. At the moment we are doing a lot of intensive surveillance in those areas, with surge testing to identify it and deal with it.”"

Good luck all, we are going to need it.
The government has hedged it's bets.

They have brought a few million doses of other vaccines that are either waiting to be licensed or are undergoing the last stage of clinical trials. Depending on the contracts they have agreed with those companies they may get them tweak them before they are used to vaccine people.
