The far right are a danger that needs to be contained. Calling them far right doesn't trivialised the danger - it announces it. This is not just a handful of far right nutters - it's a large bunch of far right French people. Anyway moving on, it seems that many of the signatories are retired and have kept their rank as reservists. And in common those who currently servr, they're not allowed to speak publicly on political (or religious) matters.
