At the risk of sounding ungrateful, I'd be happier of the default upon clicking a thread title was to go to the final page rather than the first, or at least have a button for that.

Also, as I mentioned in the bug/suggestions thread, I think the summary list of one's posts should be fixed length with a page index (as it was before I think), rather than detestable dynamic page extensions. But maybe in that GUI respect I am hopelessly old fashioned.

I'll be adding back the cut-down pagination that used to appear on thread lists and made it easy to get to the last page, assuming it doesn't turn out to be a massive performance hit.

Which page do you mean by "summary list of one's posts"? The "Activity" tab on the profile page?

I'm also in favour of paging rather than dynamically loading more content on the same page (or loading more via JavaScript and replacing what's already on the page, which was how paging through threads worked before I put a stop to it). Unfortunately, it seems the vBulletin developers have incorporated every UX design trend they've encountered over the past ten years, then failed to remove any of them when the rest of the world realised they were terrible ideas. You should have seen what replying to a thread was like before I ripped all their stuff out and replaced it with the current implementation…

That's 'cos you went with the agile approach of release first, test second. Actually, using your users as testers instead of having a test team is more the MS approach. But it's certainly the modern way

There's over 160 Selenium tests alone, though it's tricky to test everything without setting up and tearing down huge database each time; it takes fifteen minutes or so to load a DB dump on the servers I'm using for development
