that's exactly what happened to my friend I worked with. Shen she successfully applied for a job in teh melbourne office she effectively had to resign in teh UK and start afresh in Oz. She had worked for the company for years and years and she lost all her holidya allowance and when she got preggers she wasn't entitled to ANY maternity leave... nightmare.

it all worked out tho... she's still out there and she's applying for citizenship
(and hopefulyl will be putting a roof over my head when I firt get out there )

I've met few people out there that have been transferred from UK & US 'consultancies' on transfer visas so it definitely can be done.

That said, if you have worked for 2 of the big-4 then you shouldn't have too much difficulty in arranging a contract there - it's just a matter of emphasising the requisite parts of your CV.
I'm not so think as you drunk I am...

I'm doing nowt, going to stay in bed (still haven't got up) and watch tv and if that gets too dire then i'm going to read my book... it's all about a murdress so is suitably fitting the mood!

just have that horrible feeling of missing someone's company even though he drove me nuts and that I know I've made the right decision. hate it
