      Are you doing that?

If so, stay there for more than (I think its 185 days) and you're liable for taxes in the country of residence - and IR35 doesn't matter at all. (or you can choose to use a tax treaty, claim the tax back and then declare it in the UK and pay it here, but that would be silly imho, with the HMRC attitude towards contractors doing things outside of THEIR norm).

If you are not, I still think IR35 matters not , as you would not be a UK Full time employee paying UK taxes anyway, if you are employed by a non UK entity.

      I am not an accountant.

On re-reading that, it's not the best sentence I've formulated, I mean you are considered resident for tax purposes in a single country, once you've crossed a threshold - you ALWAYS owe tax somewhere, unless its the Cayman Islands etc, but believe me , they still find ways to "tax" you without using the word! (Working visa charges anyone?)

I don't disagree, if its not clear, I'm not saying you avoid paying any tax, I'm saying you pay tax in the country you are deemed to be resident for tax purposes in, for the time that the taxes are incurred.

But like I said, I've physically moved every single time and just paid in the country im tax resident in, unless I'm not - in which case its come home with the moola and delcare it on a self assessment like I always would.

        Hope thats right!

Secondly, if anyone has any advice on how to best take payment into a LTD company account in EUR without paying a hefty fee to convert to GBP, I'd be grateful.
Any update here? Just wondering what info you may have gathered in the meantime.

Could you also clarify whether you will be remaining in the UK or whether you will relocate to BE to perform the work?

I took advice from my normal UK accountant and an accountant in Belgium where my client is based... the zero rated "REVERSE CHARGE" and quoting the client's VAT number on the invoice still applies.

Why do so many people these days struggle with differentiating advise & advice usage in a sentence?
