The Rickenbacker or the Gibson...???
I haven't had my Rickenbacker loud through amplifiers yet so I don't really know how its going to sound.
I'm thinking about stringing it with heavy guage.
What do you think ?
Do you remember the "Stray Cats", I would like my guitar to sound exactly like that.I'm alright JackComment

Since I got my Mac and tried out Garageband I've got the muse again. A bunch of my older stuff is up at http://www.icompositions.com/artists/CowboyBob
I've started writing again, new stuff is on the way, and you never know, I might get a band together again...Comment

I'll all for a listen if its Goth, Industrial (Front 242, Nitzer Ebb), Rock (Rammstein), or just plain odd (Hawkwind).
Record deal eh ?
Been there, done it, left the industry in disgust after being scr3ewd by Pinnacle. (£160/hr music lawyers worth their weight in gold though). Yes, £160 an hour and this was in 1994...God knows how much they charge now.
So I left the music biz and what did I do ? Rejoined it again (IT Manager for Trace Elliot, before Gibson bought them out and closed TE down. Who have resurrected again last year incidentally.)Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
