been in touch with the US embassy in london. I need to get a 'Subject Access Record' from the met police which will probably not show up anything as my conviction was a long time ago. Once I've got this it can take up to five weeks to get an appointment at the emabassy and then 5 days to 16 weeks to get an answer. All this to go to fecking disneyland!

hahahahah! man that was a good laugh!

Whilst a spotty student, the class A's were not brought up in court at all, only the fraud (when the pigs were searching my house about the fraud thing, they found the class A's, thats how they are related) so i didn't know i had a conviction for it. my basic crb came back clean, so when the filth told me I had a class A conviction, that was news to me!

it's all a bit weird, one fuzz says one thing, another bizzie says something else. as long as i can do my travelling and not commit any more crimes, im happy. i'll deliver that thing to dubya when i get the chance, hahah!

if i did run for PM but can you imagine one day them digging all this tulipe up from my past... be as entertaining as clintons mess.

While lots of data is transmitted to the US by the airline, criminal records are not part of that data. Thus officially there is no way the US could know about your past misdeeds (unless it was terrorist activities which are transmitted by MI5/6)

Tbh the two options both carry risk, try to get the visa but chance to get turned down (drugs can be a big no no for the yanks) and get pretty much barred for life from the US

Risk it without the visa, chance they might have the info somehow or another (it is commonly accepted that the Yanks have some info they should not have) and get turned back (highly unlikely to be arrested, just denied entry and put on next plane back)

If was me, I would take the 2nd option...well actually that is me, I have something that excludes me from the visa waiver (denied entry into the USA when I was 17 due to having the wrong visa at the time) yet I have been travelling there once or twice a year for the last 10 years without a visa with no trouble.

From what I hear from someone over there who should know (works for homeland security) their records pre 9/11 are such a mess that unless you are on the "do not fly list" there is virtually no chance that your misdeeds would be flagged no matter when/where they were done

          Eurodisney?

Closer, cheaper and not so many septics to deal with.

Don't worry. I have a record the length of my arm from 15-20 years ago. It's didn't stop them from letting me in.

Eurodisney is good. Went there last year and really enjoyed it.Don't think it was particularly cheap, (although I suppose we could have stayed in a cheaper hotel, but as a contractor that's just not good form ).
Trouble is it doesn't have Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure and Seaworld.

Why didn't they stop me then a few months ago? I have a criminal record. In court 7 times.

Nice to know we have some decent members!

                    FFS!
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”
