I’m not saying that the latest anti-terrorist activity ISN’T a smokescreen to divert attention from B’Liar’s other problems, but wouldn’t it be easier just to eliminate Yates of the Yard, or just scare him off. It would be easier to arrange for kiddie porn to be found on his computer than to make up this story in Birmingham.

Wouldn't it look a bit convenient if Yates was framed? Also, Yates is not the only police officer on the case, there's plenty of others.

A terrorist threat is best for diverting attention, and it makes the beleagered Home Office look a bit better too.

Anyone see the Abraham Lincoln impersonator this morning on the beeb?

He was whinging that the police should have gone to them first before arresting these guys so that they could resolve the problems without any further fuss.

Of course what Abe misses complete is the very fact that they HAD not done anything to stop these jihadi's means they had no idea what was going on!

They had some other extra from star wars talking about how the police are dividing the community when they should be realising that they are part of the problem (by not doing anything to combat the extremists in their ranks).

But lets be honest here, the war in Iraq did not create this problem. This problem was created by the lack of border controls on the morons you let in to this country. I mean, why would you let in a mad moolah who has absolutely no connection to this country, adds nothing culturally and only sucks resources out of society instead of contributing to it.

There's something odd about this. How did the police know? How come there were so many mozzies involved?

And the victim - curiously these terrorists have chosen someone who, if they killed him, would generate great sympathy by the population at large for ordinary mozzies, which would dampen down the anti-mozzy voices.

I might be wrong, but something in the back of me mind tells me this is a load of concocted bollocks.
