It was failure of US judicial system that he wasn’t in jail long time ago, which would have (hopefully) prevented him from getting into position of power - DOJ will have 4 years to fix this awful error

Shame he is so thick otherwise he would have realised in many regimes the armed forces have led coup against their most senior officer if they ask them to do stuff they disagree with such as repress the population.
