Most gigs have had one day a week or more WFH over the last ten years, this is the first time it's been 100%.
I love it, no struggling to make small talk with office drones, no commute and top IT equipment in my home-office.
The only drawback has been having the kids off school and going mad at the same time. Four-year-old loves bombing the Video-calls but the team just take no notice, I'm just Mr. Dad to them.
I hope the whole industry goes like this but to be honest it only really makes sense if you contract so you can pay for the home-office equipment, software licences and sundries.Comment

I also think it's really important to try and meet as many of your co-workers as you can - people work so differently when they feel, uh "socially connected" for want of a better word.
