I spoke to her last night. I gave her the heave ho. She tried to pursuade me that it was a pure mistake that she forgot to txt, and that she has been sent up north for work for a month.

I said thats cool, however its not gonna work and fu*ked her off.

Why would he be the first person she calls? they barely know each other, they've only just met, she probably thought if she called him moaning he'd dump her, or may be she had some serious stuff to attend to if she was suddenly told she is being sent away.

If its true that this was a total lie, then you must give her credit that she tried to spare your feelings and told you a lie so that you wont get hurt so much, being told I am sent away is better than being told I don't really like you, I think you are a total loser and don't want to go out with you kind of stuff.

Because when you first meet someone, if you are into them, you cant stop thinking about them! You cant wait until your next date, and you spend all your time wanting to text/call/email/whatever. Just like Duder has been doing. His behaviour over the last few weeks doesn't make him a loser or anything, it makes him normal!

She hasn't shown any of the same behaviour though. If Duder had to cancel last nights date because he'd been sent up North, the first thing he would have done would be texted her to let her know.

Well perhaps not everyone is that desperate to bombard a new aquantance with text/email/phone calls? I gather they even barely kissed (and it was a $hite kiss).

Perhaps there are some women who like to think carefully and behave cautiously when meeting a new man, its not like she's been working with him or known him through friends for months. Not everyone who meets or go out on a couple of dates with a new person gets so obsessed about them.
