I would be careful putting money onto it.
Could be part of the agenda to create a positive hype in the population to be able to get through some of the measures they are passionate about.
Like reducing the 2m role to 1m. Getting more people back to work without them fighting back scared...

Martin Landray, an Oxford University professor who is co-leading the trial, said: "This is a result that shows that if patients who have COVID-19 and are on ventilators or are on oxygen are given dexamethasone, it will save lives, and it will do so at a remarkably low cost.

Other than that, steroids in any form have weakened the body's resistance to viruses.
