The UK system may be ok for those living in the UK but oppression isn’t just what you inflict on your own people. When you support countries like Israel and Saudi then you are part of their oppressive regimes. In the case of Israel the systematic oppression and savagery against the Palestinians and in the case of Saudi the massacre of innocent Yemenis in the 100s of 1000s (directly by bombs or indirectly by starvation).
