I didn't even have to use my jedi powers to work that one out... I hear 'Hoth' is quite snowy at the moment!Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson -
Off to Fernie next week - they got a 2.5M base and it's snowing faster than people can rip it up ;-)
Did a season out there a few years ago, can't wait to go back to the world's 2nd best resort (kicking horse took top spot after a visit last year).Hang on - there is actually a place called Cheddar?? - cailin maith

I personally would have done, however it was an organised stag do that was booked in the summer for January.... 13 of us went out so we just got pi$$ed instead. Although it was 8.50 euros for a vodka and coke and £4 for a Pint of Lager.Originally posted by gingerjediThats why its best not to book in advance, follow the snow and get a last minute deal into the bargain, I've had some my best holidays that way.
Meribel is due to have 30 to 40cm dump of snow in the next 24hrs.... so if anybody is looking for somewhere to go....

If you're following the snow then a decent site to track conditions etc... http://www.snow-forecast.comLast edited by Cactus; 23 January 2007, 10:13.-------------

A better, and more honest, site for snow conditions is our very own british ski slub. www.skiclubuk.co.uk - just register (Not join) and you'll have access to their snow reports section. First class and comprehensive.Hang on - there is actually a place called Cheddar?? - cailin maith
