Have to admit I'm still a fan of property to generate rental income, maybe not in the Uk.
Yes you'll be taxed to the nth degree, but rents always reflect the value of money, high or low, so you get an income that is in synch with the zeitgeist.Hard Brexit now!

Truth be told, the only way out of this pickle is to do an Iceland as we should have done in 2008. Let bankrupt businesses go bankrupt FFS.
