The cat is already well and truly out of the bag and has already had six litters of kittens. Closing flights won't make any difference.

Christ, people are thick aren't they, if well meaning.

He touches a door handle to open. She touches it. She touches other stuff, then washes her hands: the virus is still on anything else. It's even on the tap handle she used to wash her hands and then switched off with her hands after washing her hands. Then she scratched her eye.

The education on all this is pretty shocking really. Socially distance by not being anywhere near anybody you don't live with.

Indeed. Although I suppose it's difficult to be quite so sensible/rational when the choice is not seeing family or close friends. Going to my son's for lunch tomorrow, he's not a high risk AFAIK but, as an old fart, albeit a pretty healthy one, I have reservations.

Then don't go. He might not be high risk, but maybe he associates with people who are. If you do go, don't get too close, and make sure you wash your hands regularly.

New York State exceeds Italy in terms of cases per million people. It's almost as bad as the Vatican City.

Should be OK as long as you're 1 m away according to OpM.

As long as this was official dental advice, I think we're safe.

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

With that kind of idiocy, it might be meet for the army to station a few snipers at strategic locations...
