The point is that you isolate the at risk group so they don't die during the surge, then herd immunity is developed in everyone else and protects them afterwards.Comment

541,589 deaths. That's the number for England and Wales from 2018. 45,132 per month on average. But we shut the country down for a handful, Sky says 35 now.
So either something else is going on, or many more are dying than we are being told. But whatever, the actions been taken does not match the information we are being given.Comment

The alternative is to give all those needing intensive care enough morphine so they die peacefully. On many levels that might not be a bad thing. But no-one wants it to affect those close to them. And once you stop treating any section as just a bit less human, you open the flood gates. Its back to Hitler time.Comment
