VIX within 40’s as well. Regret not taking a larger position although expiration day is a few weeks ahead. It is Friday as well and it could be that some of the traders have been told to liquidate within a week. We’ll have to see Monday how it goes but it is definitely a significant event.

Monday will be very interesting. No new news and we will see a recovery, if Sunday's paper announce something big then free fall for at least a few more days. I'm hedging my bets and putting some skin back in.

Markets don’t move that quick. Consider the upside gain versus the downside risk. Most stocks are 10x from where they were in 2016, that’s insane. These are not normal times. You’re essentially betting there’s stronger upside to come.

Consider this.. you’re a hedge fund, or a family office managing millions... the recent pullback in the stock markets will be a contrarian indicator for you. Do you now sell into drying up liquidity? Or do you wait for the hoards trying to buy the dip?

              I know which I’d do.

There is no hedge in periods of distress. So you have to make pace with yourself and accept some losses. Good strategy is to cut those already showing a profit, keep the rest a bit longer but definitely pot some stop losses in place.(easier to manage in your head)
It is difficult to part with a loosing portfolio even if you are aware there are difficult times. It is deeply embedded in our psychology.
The centre idea is: meditate a bit about the situation, how likely it is to go either way and how to contain it if it does.

We could easily see an last push, in an attempt to confuse the market, could serve well for offloading, but it is not a certainty.
I wouldn’t touch any stock in the foreseeable future.
“Fooled by randomness” by Nassim Taleb could be a good read for this times.

Would be fun if everyone has been pushed towards an umbrella or paye with agency and all of a sudden, those parties might find that there could be an good opportunity for them to default.
There will be no “establishment” to defend.
And run away with people’s wages.
Or as it happened in ‘08 start calling people around with “how low can you go” rhetoric to make a good profit for themselves.
PSC’s are bad bad, very bad
