Is this entire thread just a honeypot planted by the the revenue? 17 years back taxes would be most unpleasant, I think I’d go for the Ronnie Biggs option.

Im on 3 years now which is my record. Got a few 2 1/2 years before that.

7 1/2 years on the last project. The last contractor left in January having done 9 1/2 years. All working from home on a cracking rate (no increases in the time though).
I know someone who did 20+ years with the same client, commuting from Scotland to London every week on crazy money.
