    They are two different names (I thought the different spelling might have given that away ).

    So in reality (not laalaa land) the header is actually quite misleading. Perhaps they should have said "Mohamad and mohammad over take George" or somin like that?

      As far as the Mossies are concerned they are the same name every male child is named after the prophet (pbuh). The spelling differences are because of the background of the parents. Essentialy these are the same name.
      Though for statistical purposes they are different.
