I've never used it, isn't it just full of softcore porn, validation seekers and people heavily photoshopping their lives to look relevant? -
If those are the accounts you follow then, yes, that's what you'll see.Originally posted by FIERCE TANK BATTLE View PostI've never used it, isn't it just full of softcore porn, validation seekers and people heavily photoshopping their lives to look relevant? If you don't have anything nice to say, say it sarcasticallyComment

Well, what else does it offer? I thought it was a place to share photographs. Unless you enjoy photographs I am not sure why it's better than just using Facebook? Can you explain?Originally posted by KinooOrKinog View PostIf those are the accounts you follow then, yes, that's what you'll see.Comment

There is a lot of that yes, it's primarily photos and videos with some text. What you see will depend on who you follow and what hashtags etc.Originally posted by FIERCE TANK BATTLE View PostI've never used it, isn't it just full of softcore porn, validation seekers and people heavily photoshopping their lives to look relevant?
It's more a case of what less does it offer, it's like facebook lite with a much more positive environment. That does go into the rose tinted/photoshopped category yes but it also cuts out all the news articles and petitions etc.Originally posted by FIERCE TANK BATTLE View PostWell, what else does it offer? My main interest is music so I follow a lot of musicians and labels and DJs etc. I also go to a lot of music related networking events and when swapping details with other artists/producers/industry people etc Instagram is the standard.
I like seeing people I've met post selfies from the stage in front of a big crowd and post their latest videos for their new single. It motivates me to go and practice my scales/arpeggios and get that track finished. facebook just doesn't do that for me anymore..."Is someone you don't like allowed to say something you don't like? Well I follow friends and family & their accounts do just tend to be photos about what they're up to etc. But I also follow some fitness accounts who post video tutorials, tips and information about how to progress your training, what to eat, etc. Likewise I follow some accounts with interior design content for inspiration, some local restaurants and businesses, brand accounts, and also some funny meme accounts. Depends what you're into but I find the type of content is completely different to Facebook and more suited to what I find interesting.Originally posted by FIERCE TANK BATTLE View PostWell, what else does it offer? I'll have to give it a try
I am not sure why anyone would want to follow me though, I don't think I would ever post anything, I only post the odd thing to facebook for my parents benefit and use messenger and facebook events to coordinate with friendsComment
