LBC Friday morning. They wanted voters who voted Labour for first time ever. A JR worker phone in. Voted Tory as they could not bring themselves to vote Corbyn. Due to his IRA connection and Birmingham pub bombings. Same for many at JLR. Gutted Tories won.

Several issues with that: -
1. Corbyn was in charge in 2017 so why vote Corbyn then?
2. You can vote for someone iother than 2 main parties. Or spoil your ballot paper.
3. The Good Friday agreement should start to heal the divide. He is referring to events 45 years ago - over a decade since he was born.
4. You got the result you voted for. And still gutted. Jez....

All well and good, but SNP was elected with 45% of the vote (roughly the same as the last indyref result)

You might want to take into account all the EU nationals living in Scotland, who didn't get to vote in the general election but will get to vote in indyref2. ALL of them voted "no" in the first referendum but will vote "yes" the next time around.

You might also want to take into account the other Scots, who might have voted Labour instead of SNP, but still will vote yes in indyref2.

What if another referendum is granted and IndyRef2 returns "No"? Are you going to push for IndyRef3? Or will it be IndyRef2.1?

Even if it is a "Yes", Scotland will still be outside the EU for a number of years while it goes through the process of applying for membership. How are you going to support your NHS and other services? ARe you going to build a physical border?

And so do we all. I'm very disappointed that Scotland won't get another crack at independence, although I fear if they do, they'll vote to remain in the UK, again
