Oh dear! the fact is the DoD records of how many are dead are incomplete ??
Sending letters to dead men tends to indicate a wee gap in the actual Dead to the Reported Dead.
The Reported dead .. at the hands of DoD "honest reporting" is 3000.
However a report posted in NYtimes in 2005 showes that the "Wounded alone in the year 2003 to 2004 was 130,000 US.
The recognised equation for the ratio of dead to wounded is 7%
Given that the numbers of wounded would now stand at 390,000 the 7% ratio of dead now stands at 30,000 not the DoD 3000.Comment
