That would be the dog kennels they are building across the road in the Socialist Republic of Hackney for £227,000. This gets you one bedroom a living/kitchen area, bathroom and no en-suite one see http://www.adelaidewharf.com/floorplan1.html

Then again to say the price of my one bedroom flat would buy a house 2-3 bedroom in most parts of the country is a tad annoying
Yes, the council estate drug dealers like their German motors don't they?

Yes and the council flats have excellent landing platfroms which is desirable for those constant trips to Monaco.

Not enough space to swing a pit bull around in
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Yeah but you live in the middle of nowhere and your property costs 50p.

Dim , you need to move somewhere muticultural like SAS. Although street muggings and crack hos on every corner is far too bohemian for me

That's not exactly true, the Queen Caroline is just down the road.

There no such thing as a safe place in London. There are ghettos spread everywhere, even near Chelsea and Kensington. Yet, british people are happy when they can buy some rubbish in a nice package. That would explain the reason why there are some many overpriced shops which sell the same stuff the cheap ones do at double the price (and people keep buying and are proud of it!!!).
I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.
