Oman’s great. My favourite there is the Chedi in Muscat. The Al Bustan is pretty good, and if you want something that’s a bit more of a resort hotel with activities etc, then the Shangri-La would be the best option.
OK, it’s maybe 10 years since I was there, but it’s a lovely part of the world.
